My musical journey is filled with so many experiences. From my childhood I used to see my mother singing with harmonium as she is a very good singer and my first music Guru. My grandmother, Late Uma Rani Chakraborty also used to love singing for her Lord and She was the first person who introduced me into Spirituality. But singing in front of audience and singing for Bhagawan are totally different. When you sing His glory, you can feel that spiritual energy coming through Him and charging your soul.
The art of music is divine and effective. It is the food for the soul and spirit. Through the power of music the spirit of man is uplifted. Divine Music is not only a vehicle to describe Lord’s glory but it also elevates and produces divine ecstasy. It makes the devotee forget himself and get totally immersed in divinity. No greater penance exists than chanting the names of the Lord.
By Bhagawan’s grace, I have composed more than 108 Songs which include Bhajans, Hindi, Bengali Devotional songs and some English songs. Bhagawan always said that His Divine Music is in the air. You have to become a suitable receiver to capture His divine music. I’m always grateful to my beloved Lord as He made me His suitable receiver to capture His Divine Compositions and I always pray to Him to guide me towards my goal, which is to spread His Universal Music all over the world through these amazing Compositions.
